Excellent guitar-learning site, whether you are new to playing or want to learn new techniques to enhance what you already have learned. I am learning fingerstyle guitar from a teacher named Don Ross, and I highly recommend him. He teaches in a methodical way and is accompanied by several camera angles so you can make sure you see his technique.

Everything is done well and clearly, even for foreigners.Each lesson gives new stuff to study.Video lessons,tabs,and chords are explained and prepared very well for revising and hardening new materials.Moreover jamplay offers awesome stuff for almost each sort of guitar style, explained carefully and simply easy to understand.I would recommend to everyone such a marvellous guitar learning site.

Very good website. I found a guitar teacher that teaches me the way I need to learn. My only request would be to teach a little more about common lead and song riffs that are typically used in music and can be patched together for a more complete riff. Even though the student may not understand all the theory that goes along with it, everybody wants to pick up a guitar in a music store and play something cool. I've taken a break from lessons to do this. I'm using the internet to find songs that I want to learn without having to pay for it. It maybe in the lessons somewhere and I just haven't found it yet although I have looked. The only thing I found that was close costs 30 dollars. Still, this is an excellent website. Keep it up!

Great value, highly recommend

I like the look and feel of Jamplay from the user interface to the lesson phases and instructors. The lessons break out song genres and skills which covers multiple approaches to guitar playing. Watching and listening to the instructor is crystal clear with multiple views from the instructor view and another from the student view. My overall impression after getting used to navigating to all the parts of Jamplay, sampling all the instructor styles, and taking 5 hours of instruction is if I put the time in Jamplay will significantly guide me from a beginner-intermediate status to at least an advanced intermediate and depending on my goals open up avenues for becoming a practicing musician 8^)Additionally, I see that Jamplay will work well with my weekly online guitar teacher 1-on-1 guitar lessons.

I 've been playing guitar discontinuously since more than 20 years. In the past I took guitar lessions from 3 different teachers, read magazines and books, but I've never got to be a good guitar player. Thanks to Jamplay.com, in one week I understood more than what I've done in the last two decades. The beginners session is just awesone, the teachers are top level, clear and effective, and every video lession is completed by plenty of additional tools that can be downloaded. Most every thing is great but sometimes the videos stop and you have to go to a lower quality video to get it to keep running the lesson. But other then that it works well.

This is a great site for beginners or advanced guitarists. The quality of the teaching is excellent and hd practice films are very high quality.

As someone looking to improve and progress with guitar the quantity and quality of resources is outstanding. Teaching is clear and thorough. Terrific resource.

I'm a new player and found this site while trying to sift through the plethora of guitar tuition sites. I gave it a go and I am blown away by the amount of knowledge, lessons and interaction. Instructional videos are awesome and being able to interact with instructors via webcam really speeds things up when learning something new. Everything I need to progress to the next level of playing, and beyond, is right here. I don't feel the need to look any further!

I enjoy the jamplay web site. I find the tools particularly usefull for example the scales tool box are very useful. I think that each user will get out of jamplay what they put into it. Some of the instructors are good some, not so much.I think that jamplay should add a section of instruction on how to play specific songs by catalogue. For example, offer instruction on the Eagles, Beatles, Clapton in order to ensure that each student can access those areas of concern which are important to them as individuals. Other that that, it is a great site.
