Having dealt with Harlings before on a couple of occasions, I shall be coming back to see if you can replace some jewellery items which "disappeared" while I was living in Langley. RCMP in Langley do have a file on this incident (Constable Stephanie Jacks) but doubt they will have much success in finding any of it! Insurance coverage on jewellery lost by theft and disappearance is $20,000 and I made a list of the missing items, at least two of which were made by Harlings a while ago. I will itemize the missing items for your records, and hope that you will be able to replace some of them under the Insurance Coverage. However, some items (e.g. White gold ladies' Omega wrist watch with greenish tinted crystal, and gold chain with cartouche from Egypt) are probably irreplaceable.

I recently visited Harlings to get my 93 year old mom's rings resized and made smaller (she had been sick and lost a lot of weight). I was quickly approached by a lovely, friendly young lady who listened to me and completely understood my dilemma, do we resize it, do we not. She explained that resizing a ring can be expensive and with seniors, sometimes their finger size and weight can change regularly. Instead of resizing the rings, she had another idea. She gave me a tiny, clear coil that can be easily wrapped around each of the bands. The coil worked perfectly and was so discreet. When I returned the rings back to my mom, she was so happy. This was my first time to Harlings - but I have already repeated my customer service story at least 5 times. Thanks for the great experience.
