I have a 93 year old friend. I wanted to give her and her family something truly unique. I called the support number, and got Hannah. She worked extremely hard, answering all of my questions, and ended up getting me a completely original NY Times from January 1924! Keep in mind, she got me an original paper, not some crummy reprint. I looked all over. It is not easy to find originals. Most services offer reduced size copies. I gave one of these to each of our two grown sons at Christmas this year, and they both got a kick out of them. One learned he shared a birthday with one of his favorite athletes, Tom Brady; another learned his birthday was the day Baby Jessica was rescued from that well. Many interesting tidbits of info on these "newspapers" - they really take you back down memory lane. The only thing we all thought was a bit "lame" was the "President Visits the Baby" article - a bit juvenile for adults. Also, it's made up, while the rest of the paper contains actual facts. We would rather they had used that space for another interesting fact, rather than a made-up article about how the president visited my son on the day of his birth and "kissed the baby with a big, round, presidential kiss". Way too corny. Other than that, though, we all loved these.
