Outstanding improvement! Indoors without the antenna I was getting 60-120Mbps download and marginal pings and uploads with the TMO-G4AR from T-Mobile. Experimenting with the quadmini indoors did not give me a noticeable download speed improvement, although ping and upload improved. I first walked around outside with an extension cable, antenna, and a laptop, checking my speeds. I then got smarter and used the root app (highly recommended). I am rural in a flat area and 2. 7 miles from the cell tower. I also verified my tower location and direction. The root app gave me my best location, which was under the eve. I attached the antenna to the gutter downspout with zip ties. Unfortunately, it still did not consistently improve my download speed. It wasn't until I moved the antenna to the other side of the house that I saw a speed improvement. So, even though the root app showed a poorer signal after moving, I was getting faster downloads. Maybe there was interference. This was all on the n41 band (I was unsuccessful in getting it to stay on the n71 band for testing). I was now getting 80-240Mbps download. I then read on the Waveform website that for some it worked better to switch the number 2 and 3 antenna cables. I tried this, and am now getting 100-310Mbps! Also a 2-4 times improvement in pings and upload. I couldn't be happier.

I installed the 4x4 antenna in my attack and signal strength when from 1 bar to 3 on my t-mobile 5Gar modem, allowing me to stream movies. I have 4 more ports on modem, but the first four will do.

I had been researching this antenna for a while before pulling the trigger but I’m glad I finally did. Overall this was a super easy install and my performance went up ~5x on download and ~10x on upload. I’m extremely happy with this antenna and it kept me from returning my T-Mobile internet.
