Beautiful pen, stunning writer! Wrote well straight out of the box. And can we talk about that box, please? I adore the artwork on the softwood box. The pen was shipped and delivered in under a week from the date of order.

This is my 5th Wancher -- my favorite pen brand. The Kaleido Queen in Deep Forest Green is a gorgeous pen and a smooth writer. Great size too. My only nitpick -- and the only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 --is that the facets (sides) of the octagonal shape don't line up when the cap is screwed onto the barrel. I don't know if that's just the one pen I received, or if they're all that way. Not a huge deal, just letting everyone know.

I discovered Wancher earlier this year, and in such a short time, I've purchased eight beautiful pens and a pen pouch. The point is that Wancher is doing so well that I can't stop falling in love with the technologically perfect works of art they keep bringing to market. Everything is perfect: the products, the prices, the service. In particular, what impresses me most is the great care they take to keep ancient Japanese penmaking traditions alive while constantly innovating.
