Delivery was on time but the vase arrived broken and no card was included with the flowers. The recipient did not know who had sent the flowers to tell us about the issue — they were meant to be a surprise — AND had to figure out a vessel for the flowers on a very stressful day. The very important message the flowers were meant to convey did not get through. I did not find out until late the following evening when I called. On notifying Urban Stems the first couple of interactions I had were automatic robo responses with a rote solution that was unsatisfactory. A human customer care person offered the same, citing the policy of needing photographs of the damage within 48 hours. The recipient did not think to take photographs, I imagine a common occurrence. Urban Stems would only resend the arrangement which the recipient did not want, or give me a 50% Urban Stems credit which I do not want. They are intractable, and seemed not to “get” the degree of the fail. To me, their rigid response is unacceptable.

Flowers were much smaller than advertised and not wrapped in paper. They were wrapped in more urban stems advertising. Expensive for what you get.

Easy to order and flowers as described, arrived very quickly. A couple of broken stems, but overall pleased.

I love giving my family that lives out of town a flower surprise for birthdays and special occasions. It gets old sending the same old bouquets. It was so fun to have something unique and different and they couldn’t stop raving about it.
