Everything almost perfect!

In early 2021, I moved to St. Petersburg, FL, which was opening back up following the COVID pandemic. The city was coming alive and many people were riding larger but more cumbersome scooters currently available for rent. Further, these scooters were remotely locked down for certain areas. Deciding I wanted my own personal scooter, I settled on the Unagi Classic Model One in Cosmic Blue. I fell in love with the responsiveness, portability, and slim style. I rode it every chance I got. Unfortunately, in 2024 I moved away from St. Pete to a rural area in North Carolina so now use my original Classic Model One less frequently. However, I do try and take it on short trips to more urban areas wherever I go. When Unagi began its 2025 pre-Holiday sale for refurbished Model One scooters at deeply discounted price, I knew I needed to jump on the deal so I would have a matched set and one other scooter for other family members to use. The refurbished scooter in the Sea Salt color is perfect. And, except for a few minor scratches operates as well as my original one. I really love the freedom of the Unagi scooter and my only issue now is deciding whether to take my original Cosmic Blue or my ‘new’ Sea Salt scooter out for a spin.

The scooter has been great, but the customer service is lacking.

I’ve been loving my UNAGI Voyager—comfort and style in one silky-smooth ride. The dual motors have plenty of punch for hills, and the impressive range means I’m not constantly thinking about charging. The mobile app is a great bonus for tracking rides and fine-tuning settings. And the looks? It turns heads everywhere I go—especially in Cool Mist, which is pure chef’s kiss in real life.

I signed a release with Unagi that in exchange for a release of claims i would return the Unagi Voyager I had and receive a replacement Voyager. I shipped my scooter on 12/19/25. Unagi confirmed a label was created on 12/26/25. It has been three weeks and the scooter still hasn’t shipped. I have followed up multiple times with Unagi. I used my scooter every day for personal use and commute and this has added 30 minutes to my commute each day.

I’m in college and this is perfect for taking me from one campus location to another, as well as my jobs. It’s a pretty smooth ride however the handle kinda jiggles on the stem (mine is refurbished)

Very smooth process

The scooter has many visible scratches and marks. The battery doesn't last anywhere near the other units I had. The screen has a line every few times you turn it on. Additionally, the acceleration is terrible. Yes, I know of three different speed levels. I played with all levels the most it goes is around 12-13 mph. I dont recommend
