Changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars because they fixed the issue, the initial review is below. I like my chair and i would have given it a 5 star review and i appreciate that they fixed the situation but i don't think the experience below is to be fully forgotten either, so i'm leaving it at a 4. Initial review: The chair was broken on arrival. The packaging is horrendous. One leg of the chair was outside the box and another one was broken inside and the chair i received is ultimately unuseable. To add insult to injury, the delivery happened unexpectedly after 4 weeks of radio silence from steelcase. I contacted the customer support a couple of times and received no information whatsoever, and i was called by the transport company the morning it was going to be delivered. This is unacceptable and there is no way to quickly contact steelcase to solve the issue. There is no phone number on their local website and i have to rely on email communication and they do take their time with sending replies.
Great delivery service and communication. The shipping company Steelcase contracted communicated in advance for the desired delivery time. The driver arrived on time and was very careful when offloading. The product is easy to assemble and with great quality. Very happy with my purchase.
Bit long delivery time (stated upfront), but superb product.
Very satisfied with the shipping. After about 2-3 weeks of waiting (as expected, Steelcase also says this on their website) I was able to choose the date of delivery and I was able to track the exact hour + minute they were going to be at my door. The two people who delivered it were very kind and offered to place it wherever I wanted it.
The lumbar support is too weak. The back of the chair should give better support, and the mesh is easy to be bent even with one hand. Plastic plastic plastic plastic, almost no metal parts. 6 weeks for delivery instead of 3.

The order tracking process could have been better, but the support team was friendly and replied quickly. The product arrived in good condition.

Shipping and delivery can be better. Status updates on the website are not clear, as there is no proper communication with the delivery partners. The only way now is to receive a mail communication from the delivery partner, which is not ideal.
A very good chair (Steelcase Gesture). Keep in mind, when you first get it the chair might sit weird or not comfortable. But that fades within a week. Your body needs to adjust to the new sitting posture which is better for your body. Only down side is, when it is really warm and humid the chair might feel a tad to warm on the skin. But even that can be fixed with some AC or just a relaxing sit in the garden. All in all a very good chair and very good customer service.
Great chair, easy to assemble. Worth the wait. Not a lot of communication after order was placed, however as stated, after 2-3 weeks I was informed that the delivery will take place and I should select a time that will work for me.
Smooth online experience, friendly and helpful customer service and great product. The shipping took a little long but I guess this is understandable with context of the product
Steelcase has delivered perfect customer service! I ordered my Leap chair and because my body was not yet adjusted to the Leap chair within the 14 days of cancellation/return right, I started the return process. After the return request was submitted, I had to wait for the Leap chair to be picked up. In the meantime, I ordered a new Steelcase chair; the Gesture. However, during the waiting time, my body adjusted to the Leap chair and I asked them If I could please cancel my return request and also please cancel my newly placed order for the Gesture chair. As it turned out my body needed additional time to adjust to the Leap chair. I now absolutely love the Leap chair which is very comfortable for working 40+ hours a week from home and also for gaming in my spare time. Steelcase canceled my return request and reimbursed the amount for the Gesture chair. Their customer service is very friendly and response and will sent you most of the time an answer on the same day or latest on the next day. Thank you for this great customer experience and also for making such a great Leap chair!
Great products, I bought a stand desk and a office chair - gesture, I love it! Both are pretty and comfortable. The only minor star I gave was for the time to deliver, it takes a lot, but it worth :)
Contacted the support team about the Amia chair not being included in the sale at that time. They informed me of an upcoming sale later in the month which I greatly appreciated. Ordered it with a discount and the chair was delivered in 7 days. So far the chair sits great, much more comfortable than the HM Mirra 2. Very happy with my purchase.

I understand good things take time. But three weeks is a long period without any status updates about the progress. Although the delivery time is long, with minimal updates on progress. I have to say that I absolutely love the chair! It’s made very well and sits very very good.
Delivery was made on time and they were very careful with the experience. Chair came assembled already which is very handy
