Sometimes a product just amazes you. Purchased as a whim after a discussion with a friend I was not expected to be :<> by these boots. To truly appreciate them, they need to be held and worn. The deep burgundy color, perfect wax, delicate care and respect for the heritage of this boot is evident in every aspect. From packaging, to the smell of leather upon opening the box. This has become my favorite boot and I quickly am acquiring the complete color way. Truly to size with a thick sock.

Excellent service, arrived quickly and well informed. Boots fit true to size and comfortable straight out of the box

The shoes arrive very quickly. Unfortunately, Tricker's overcharge non-UK customers by converting the purchase price from GBP into the respective foreign currency. Thus, the net price in GBP (sales price less 20% VAT) is no longer transparent. Tricker's unncessarily apply an unfavourable exchange rate (for the customer) to the sale. It becomes obvious once you look at the commercial invoice when the shoes arrive. The net price is higher than what it should be. It's not a lot, but its irritating. It makes Tricker's come across as cheap. This is not a pleasant online shopping experience. State and charge cost and fees clearly and neatly without such hidden shananigans. You are discriminating foreign customers.
