Axle kit worked great to tune up my older trailer valet.

The staff of trailer valet was second to none in getting me a replacement bushing immediately and with the utmost ease. Awesome customer service but the overall durability of the trailer jack is about 90%.

I really do like my new trailer jack. I had to make a run to Home Depot to purchase longer bolts than what came with the jack, but that was no problem. I will make this suggestion about the bolts. Whether you are using the 4” bolts or 6” that I bought, use a smaller hex head than what came with the order. The 7/8 wrench will not fit into the securing bracket to hold the nut secure. I downsized, using the same size threads but a 1/2 hex head. If you are using a socket set it may not be an issue. I love using an electric drill to raise and lower the jack, it saves on wear and tear on my shoulder and knuckles when slipping off the old cranking jack that I replaced. I’m hoping this unit gives me years of service. I would like to know how often I should add grease into the grease fitting. D Jennings

I love my trailer valet, it allows me to put my boat exactly where I want it and utilize more my garage. I love it so much.

Have not actually used the maintenance kit yet as my Valet has only been used once. The parts included in the kit are high quality, precision machined and the lubricant included is of superior quality able to operate at extreme temps.

Easy process and quick shipping.

This trailer jack and wheel combination are well made, but not well thought out. It seems as if the end user has become victim to the engineer who doesn't really use the equipment that they design. The grease point is on the inside of the jack facing the plate, which becomes a stop point for the extension. A picture shows how it impacts the plate causing chipped paint, and thus rust. The 90 degree rotation pin is held in place by a locking pin, which is extremely difficult to remove. This locking pin should have been a spring loaded locking pin, much like the locking pin to adjust the height of the arm. I was missing a locking pin for the wheel, which I had to wait over a week to get replaced. Lastly, my boat trailer tongue is 3 inches wide and the bolts supplied were 6 inches long with threads only on the end, forcing the use of many washers to allow the jack to be tightened onto the boat frame. My solution was to go buy 4 inch stainless steel bolts to fix this issue. Just bought them, still needs installed. Threads all the way down the 6 inch bolt would have fixed this issue from the manufacturer. A unit with this price tag could have had better engineering, appropriate parts, all of the parts, and faster shipping. I'm keeping it, but I would not buy this product again.
