Well designed, quality construction! My previous bag lived a long life of close to 20 years before needing a replacement, and I was glad to see the quality remained with some simple updates that made this such a great switch. The travel mug pockets in particular address one of my frustrations with my previous bag (and truth be told, my previous mug!) and separating sections for laptop are also ideal.

As mentioned this is my second bag from Timbuk2, and my first Timbuk2 Especial Messenger is over 10 years old—and when its inner lining started to show some age Timbuk2 was able to repair the inner waterproof lining for a nominal fee of $25, it’s easily ready for another 10 years! My respect Timibuk2!
