Ordering was smooth and pickup experience was one of the greatest customer services that was in and out with out complications or wait times. By far the best messenger bag I have used with a great price point and durability. Haven’t tested it in any rainy conditions. It fits my 14” MacBook easily and several slim 40page notebooks in the same pocket compartment. The only caveat using it Is that the strap has a limit for shortening if you want to maneuver it to the back like a sling. I use the S size and it’s length caps at my waist. It’s difficult to keep it above if the contents weigh too much. I suggest buying the silent straps and relying on buckles. Great for not making a scene entering quiet lecture halls and convenient when grabbing something inside without having to use so force to pull off Velcro. The material is pretty thin for the lanyard piece connecting to keys. Okay for backup but definitely not something you’d put all your daily keys in. Can’t say I recommend using the designated pockets for water bottles or cans. I end up laying it horizontal inside to avoid puffing the bag out. Common 500ml plastic water bottles fit. I definitely still recommend purchasing this bag whenever you see a particular colour combination you like.

The Timbuk2 XS has quickly become one of my favourite small everyday bags. The form factor is excellent: compact, comfortable, and surprisingly capable, allowing me to carry a lot of daily or travel essentials without feeling like I am carrying a large bag. I also really like the versatility of being able to wear it close to the body almost like a sling, or more loosely in a traditional messenger style. The comfortable top handle is genuinely useful for grabbing the bag quickly or carrying it by hand, and the ripstop material feels lightweight, durable, and high quality. The dedicated tablet compartment is a perfect fit for my 11-inch iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard attached, and although it is a tight fit, I can even carry a 13-inch laptop in the main compartment in a pinch when I want my laptop with me but do not want to carry a backpack or my larger Timbuk2 Command messenger bag. The included internal water bottle holder is also a very useful touch and helps keep things organized. My only real wish would be for a bit more organization, either inside or through an additional external pocket or two, but perhaps that is something for a future version.
