Before purchasing a supplement, I now ask whether a lab test can confirm whether or not the supplement is working. Maybe companies can put that in their write-ups as to what lab test can be done (or which marker) prior to taking their product and then check a month or two later to see if it has improved. I don't know which blood test would confirm resveratrol was working or not, but I tend to not purchase supplement products anymore without getting an indication as to how to check their effectiveness.
