The boots are great. The Alden Madison Brown Calfskin is gorgeous. On the Brannock device my left foot is a 12 and my right an 11. 5. The Shoe Mart people, who responded promptly, suggested I order the 11. 5 B/D, which is perfect. The right boot is a shade less snug, but an extra tug on the laces comfortably takes care of it. I have to say that the calfskin is tougher than expected, particularly the front of the collar, but after a number of days wearing them, and a few treatments of conditioner they're breaking in nicely. Very pleased.
