Great, all around. The protective bag that was shipped with my jacket was sized for the original, unmodified design, but my satisfaction is great enough to merit all stars possible, regardless.

Honestly maybe the best-looking jacket I own. I’m very happy with it. You can tell it’s good quality and I hope it will last me a lifetime. It’s quite heavy, just so you know. I would say it’s ideal for autumn/spring. Maybe works during winter as well if you layer well enough.

Good fit and awesome color

I recent purchased two of the same model/size leather jackets, in different colors. Upon receiving them, the sizing was perfect in one, but the sleeves were of the wrong size in the other. I reached out to customer service and they not only promptly sent me a call tag for the incorrect Jacket, they had a new Jacket in my hands with correct sleeves in a little over a week. I was blown away and so appreciative of their follow-up and will be delighted to recommend The Jacket Maker to friends and family. Nice job! Also, the quality of the two jackets is fantastic. You never know with an online purchase, but in this case it worked out beautifully.

If you are looking for a custom tailored jacket, a high quality product, and amazing customer service, you've found the right business! I bought the standard suede leather jacket as a gift for my husband who is 6'4 and then decided to upgrade to a custom order for a better fit. I worked closely with Sam over email who made every step simple, fast and straightforward - from adjusting the order, to sending the shipping labels, to collecting the measurements, and then making additional final alterations to get the fit just right. The final result fits perfectly and they really listened to what we wanted and asked thoughtful questions to ensure the measurements were correct. The process from start to finish was long (Dec - May) because we shipped the original order back, ordered the custom, and then made final alterations to the custom, but it was well worth the wait. I would happily buy from them again and recommend them for custom tailoring!
