Quality materials that were well packaged and delivered on a pallet. Mostly easy to assemble (read reviews for helpful hints); assembling the arms can be challenging just be patient! The chair is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. Would definitely purchase again...or another.

If you're looking for an Eames style chair but can't afford the cost of the genuine article, the reproduction from theiconicchair is a reasonable alternative. The chair arrived promptly and was well packaged for shipment. The single package is heavy so unless you have equipment to assist moving the carton, two people will be needed to relocate it. Once the carton is opened the assembly is simple enough. The upper part of the chair is fully assembled except for the arm pads. All that needs to be done is attach the base and arms to the chair, attach the post to the ottoman and place the post into the ottoman base. The assembly instructions are basic, but pretty clear. I own a genuine Eames chair purchased years ago so I have a point of comparison. The aluminum bases are essentially identical in execution. The obvious differences are in the quality of the finish on the plywood and the leather. That would be expected for the considerably lower price. That's not to say the quality is poor, it's actually pretty good for the price paid, but the leather is thinner and waxy in its feel. It's soft but has something of an automobile Nappa leather feel to it, rather than a furniture feel. The finish is clearly a one-step stain and seal spray-on versus the stained and clearcoat of the real Eames. As others have noted, the cushions hiss when you get up as air is drawn back into the cushion, where a real Eames doesn't. The seating comfort is similar between the two. It's too soon to comment on durability over time. To sum up, this chair is a reasonable for the price alternative to a genuine Eames chair and appearance wise, would be hard to tell apart unless you have the genuine item to compare to.

My wife has loved the original Eames chairs for a long time, but the cost was never something we were going to be able to justify. Even though the Iconic Chair is not a "budget" chair, it is so much more budget-friendly than an original while holding true to its design. For our 30th anniversary, I ordered this chair for my lovely bride. It showed up within 7 business days of the order. It was well-packed, and assembly was simple. All the parts were in perfect shape. In short, it is a gorgeous chair and we love it.

My chair arrived today. It is the olive and walnut. I was hesitant to order the olive as another review said the olive was more of a mint color. That is not true, it is definitely olive. I called and requested a sample of the leather color and received it super fast as I am on the East coast. The chair is so beautiful. I did have some challenges putting on the arm pads until I placed the chair on its side and on the floor. Before I was trying to attach them when the chair was table height. The chair is so comfortable. I sat in it and there was no strain on my back at all. I don't think I would be able to watch tv while sitting in this chair as I am sure I would be falling asleep, it is just that comfortable. The staff is wonderful to work with, they sent out the leather sample super quick so I had it before the sale was over. love, love, love this chair

So like some of you reading this, I went down a rabbit hole researching which replica eames lounge chair to buy. This chair is worth every penny ! Quality is top notch, install was easy although it did seem like the anchor screws for legs of the chair were a bit off set but I managed to screw them in. Leather is soft, plywood is beautiful. I would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

I like the chair, so much so I bought a second one. Looks great and is very comfortable. It is well built and customer service is excellent. If I were to make changes it would be to offer a grade of leather that is a little thicker (it would cost more but would be worth it). An extra-tall version or being able to raise/adjust the top back cushion would be nice (I am 5'9" and would not mind an extra inch). I might also add just a little more lumbar support, and I would lower the armrests an inch or so. These are ergonomic adjustments that would be a great option to have so everyone could fine-tune the chair to their body. All in all I would buy again.

Shipping was super quick, packing great. Though I’ve only had it a few weeks, the quality is excellent. What impresses me the most is the quality of the leather, very soft and comfortable.

It was packed well without damage, the assembly was straight forward and it looks awesome. Comfortable (my dog agrees), looks very cool (my wife agrees) and best of all music actually sounds better while sitting in it (working on someone to back me up on this point).

Fast shipping, Easy and minimal assembly. Quality is great. I think if I had do overs I would order the tall version. I am only 5 ft 4, but feel taller version would support head. Yes know original is meant to just be shoulder support. Wonder if other low cost versions are the same? Are they all made from the same factory in china? Inquiring minds want to know! But feel this "copy" has all the bells and whistles. Couldn't be happier.
