A novel idea, and it makes great filter-style coffee without the grains from a cafetiere. Slightly less convenient, but worth it. Remember to use a strong receptacle (stout mug or jug), I used a chipped one which split under the Aeropress pressure with prdictable reults.

This is the perfect mug for me. Beautiful range of colours, right size finger hole and not too large.
