I had originally purchased a power loomed rug because it was more affordable. While it was gorgeous, I kept returning to the website to view the hand-knotted rugs. Ultimately, I called Tabrizi to request a return, and they were very accommodating. I ended up purchasing this vintage hand-knotted rug from Iran, and I couldn't be happier. If I can give any of you a word of advice, it would be this: you are better off investing in a true work of craftsmanship that will last you a lifetime than a fossil fuel byproduct that will end up in a landfill in a few years. If your budget can allow it, you won't regret supporting skilled cultural artisans and their local distributers. Thank you, King!

We rather impulsively decided to buy a new rug for our living room just before Christmas. I called Tabrizi to get information about their prices and was told that the inventory was available online. The person I spoke with explained that they had machine made rugs in the 7 x 10 size starting as low as $400-$500, and a large selection of handmade rugs as well, some of which were on sale. The website is well organized and I was amazed to find a handmade Mashad Medallion Persian rug in my preferred colours (red base) in the correct size on sale for 72% off. Immediately I phoned the shop again and asked them to put the rug aside as I was about 20 minutes away. When I arrived at the shop, the rug was laid flat on the ground so I could see the entire carpet. The rug is absolutely gorgeous -- I didn't ask why the price was so low. We ended up paying, including HST, just over $1,000 for a rug that was listed at $3,600. I'm very pleased to have this rug and appreciated the service -- and that I was wished a Merry Christmas. I will shop at Tabrizi again. Great service, knowledgable staff, excellent selection.

My partner and I went in with only 50% of a plan. In some places that would be a disaster but not here. The staff took everything we said into consideration and I never once felt pushed to buying a more expensive rug (as our budget was on the lower end). Staff were knowledgeable and had excellent recommendations. We didn’t expect to leave with a rug, only to look, and we left with a beautiful rug that goes perfectly in our living room (along with two young cats). Very good selection of rugs in store, a lot of beautiful and unique items. I knew exactly what i wanted and the staff were helpful in finding it and getting it all checked out for me. Everyone was welcoming and kind, and it was very easy to find the rug i found online and wanted to buy. Loved the sale but i’d happily buy full price!! Honest people too, they gave me the online sale price even though the in store was different. Store interior is very warm and beautiful to look around, even though i was just in and out to get my rug you could definitely spend hours here!! love supporting local and it is definitely worth it to stop by or shop online, their selection is amazing no matter what style of rug you like. I am very happy with my purchase, the store, and the staff and i 100% recommend Tabrizi!! I will for sure be going back when i need another rug, they definitely deserve their 5 star rating.

I highly recommend purchasing from them! I initially ordered a rug, and the Tabrizi Rug team noticed a small defect before shipping. They called me right away and offered to order a similar replacement instead. The new rug was actually more expensive, but they didn’t charge me anything extra.
