Worth it. No more batteries!

The Sunsa Wand Wifi is my favorite smart home device except for maybe the thermostat. They're not life-changing but are a subtle improvement that's a part of the "one less thing to think about" mindset. Installation is easy, tho the instruction video is outdated and refers to parts not included with the current shipped model (the wand holder is universal for vertical and horizontal blinds). The controllers work on a schedule and can be set to operate around sunrise and sunset based on your location. It's not whisper quiet, but the whirring noise isn't loud either.

I ordered one to see how it performs. And happy to report works really well. Will be buying more. Customer service was prompt in responding to my query about shipping. Which was timely given that I had placed the order just before the Holidays.

Even though the website says the magic wand is suitable for vertical blinds it is not. The shipment does not include a vertical blind adapter because there is not one. The prototype they sent me had to be reinforced with packing tape because it was so brittle. I waited a month to recieve a product I could finally 'test' on my blinds. Sending it back would have been at a financial loss for me as they charge you for the S&H of a product you had faith to believe in, so it was cheaper for me to keep the product. The app wasn't any easier to use. Product is not ready for public market yet it was advertised and sold as is anyway. Poor business model.

The wand itself works amazing. Censor and scheduling options are perfect. The adapter installed above my blinds is sturdy. Q&A videos online are helpful. But my favorite part is that the customer service is great too! If you reach out with any questions, they communicate in detail AND quickly. Very impressive small business!

Customer Service solved the issue with the adapter and sent me the alternate adapter immediately.

Sunsa has amazing customer service! I contacted them because I had a wand that wouldn't reset. They immediately replaced the wand (at no cost to me) and followed up with me to ensure it was working properly. Highly recommend this company and their products!
