I’ve been riding the Segway Xyber (Single Battery) for about 3 weeks now, and overall, I’m extremely satisfied with it. The acceleration is super smooth, and it easily hits and maintains 28–30 mph, which makes it more than fast enough for daily city commuting. That said, there are two minor downsides worth noting: 1. Seat Comfort for Long Rides: Because of the fixed scrambler-style bench seat, your backside can get a bit sore if you’re riding for an extended period. Adding an aftermarket gel seat pad or cushion helps a lot. 2. Chain Derailment During Fast Pedaling: If you pedal aggressively while moving at higher speeds, the chain tends to slip off occasionally. However, since the motor carries speed so effortlessly on throttle alone, you don't really need to pedal once you get moving—so it doesn't affect drivability at all. As long as you keep those two quirks in mind, it is an absolute blast to ride and a truly fantastic e-bike. Highly recommended!

This customer service is what always amazes me about Segway. Whenever I have any kind of issue, for example be it about some part, an order or a question - your team is very fast, informative and helpful. You never get that sense of being rushed when talking to a company that hears out their customers.

The entire process was very seamless and easy to understand. I placed my pre-order with ease. However, the website's interface could use a bit more work, especially in the transitions between the various tab pages.

Was a preorder so I can’t speak to the prompt shipping, although it shipped within 2 days of beginning ship date on website.

Segway was great to deal with several emails were sent for the 3 Max G3 Plus scooters I bouth detailing the order, then an invoice, followed by shipping information. The shipping was very fast in my case, handled by FedEx. The scooter was very well packaged in a beautiful box. The first scooter VIN 0656 arrived with most of the styrofoam packing broken, but the scooter was perfect as the packaging did it's job. The next two scooters VINs 0455 & 0868 arrived with the boxes and syrofoam in perfect condition. I've now purchased the Segway mirrors which are great. I also purchased ART3 Foldylocks for all 3 scooters. They just fit through the front locking point on the scooter and mount securely for travel using two fasteners on the upright post allowing the post to still fold down and latch properly. Everything considered Segway did a great job and I even enjoyed the very little assembly needed to get them ready. I also love the Segway App and all the custimization it allows.
