I loved the new Necromancer class, and some of the archetypes like the Hedge Mage and the Spellshifter were lots of fun. But honestly, since a lot of that I can find on Archives of Nethys on the same day the PDF releases, I mostly order Paizo PDFs for the art, and maybe the prose storytelling at the beginning. And while the art pieces are as beautiful and detailed as always, the prose stories left a bit to be desired. I still greatly prefer the prose stories from Howl of the Wild and Rival Academies, since many they were in first-person and woven into the structure of the book itself (serving as introductions to a block of rules options, for example) rather than relegated to in between chapters.

So, ever since Paizo decided to update PF2 to the remaster edition, I have been slowly simmering waiting for the new "Magic" book to come out with an updated version of my favorite class, the Summoner. Then I find out they updated the Magus too (which was expected) but added two more updated classes as well? Okay, then I was brought to a boil. THEN the book finally arrived and it is everything I expected and MORE. Great updating, well written, excellent organization, amazing artwork . . . the list goes on. I honestly think this book is the best one yet in the remaster crowd! Thank you Paizo!

I love APs, and I can honestly say that I have never been more enthusiastic about an upcoming AP than this one since it was first announced. The theme, setting, level range, and single author aspects are all huge selling points, and the fact that it works nicely with the new beginner's box and Troubles in Grayce is gravy on top of the gargoyle. Looking forward to running it soon!

I love the option to purchase PDFs. The physical books are great, but it's nice to be and to use the information in digital format. I'm very excited to see the cross compatibility with Pathfinder.

I've been playing RPG's for 40+ years now and there have only been maybe a dozen books and adventure modules as useful and as well written as Tales From the Vast is. It's the perfect way to start playing Starfinder 2e with a one shot, to have an adventure over a few sessions, or to start and/or expand a new or existing campaign. I have used Tales From the Vast in the each of those situations so far. I used it to introduce role playing games to my extended family at a get together last month and they loved it with a few wanting to know how to start playing themselves. I used it to introduce Starfinder 2e to my old school RPG group who wanted to try a sci-fi setting after 20 years and all 5 of them loved it. And I used one adventure over 3 sessions for my daughter's group, cause they were curious about Starfinder, but had only played D&D so far. They also loved the adventure and want to continue with Starfinder 2e. So yes, I think Paizo knocked it outta the park with this Tales From the Vast anthology book.

Excellent book. The changes to the Magus and Summoner are welcome changes. The new classes come with lots of flavor and seem fun to play. Plenty of excitement from my group around this book.

I purchased the PDF as I primarily work digitally. The PDF is easy to search and it art within the book if fantastic.
