As expected

From start to finish Nick and Jan explained the process and kept us updated. In 30 years of doing work on houses we have owned. This is the first time things went as planned. Very professional and the installers even cleaned up after themselves. #Outstanding.

I have worked with a lot of contractors and construction companies over the years and Solar Technologies has “taken the cake” on exceeding all my expectations. The coordinated work with my roofer and handled all the permitting and inspections to get my job done and functioning. I would recommend Solar Technologies to anyone looking for a solar solution !

While the process end-to-end isn't that quick (initial consultation in October, contract signed end of that month, installation in February, and final city sign-off at the beginning of April), the Solar Technologies team did a great job of making it easy and painless for me. They took care of all the permitting, dealing with the inspectors and their multiple rounds of specific requests, and pretty much everything else. I just had to sign some forms (electronically), make sure they had access to the property during installation / inspection, and that was it. It's been in operation almost four full months now, and other than a few days where a breaker tripped for some unknown reason (and I didn't know about it until I checked the app and noticed there was an error), production has been impressive.

Overall I am extremely pleased with the product and installation experience. Palo Alto is a tough city for construction. There were a number of issues with getting final approval that delayed the sign off but they worked through them professionally. All in all I am glad I hired them.

fast and great installation

It's been a couple of months since we got the final inspection done and turn-up, and all is well. The process wasn't quick (from contract until turn-up was about 5 months), but a lot of the delays were inspection woes likely due to some very particular city rules and an ultra-meticulous inspector. Allison, Marina, and crew did a fine job from contracting through coordination of inspections - as a homeowner there was a lot of waiting and some delays, but other than making sure the side gate was unlocked when work was to be done, it was hands off other than a few forms to fill out. There is a premium for SunPower equipment, so if your metric is $/kW of rated system output, you'll likely get better quotes - but we have been very pleased with what was installed and would highly recommend Solar Technologies.

We are very happy with Solar Technologies ! It was a very smooth experience for start to finish, nothing unexpected. I worked with Keenan Shaw and he was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, and Marina was an awesome project manager. The crew finished the install in 1 day and the whole project completed on original schedule, right before summer started. Our new SunPower system looks great are already producing 35-40kwh per day. Thanks Keenan and Marina!

Great service and nice people

Considerably overestimated the number of panels that could fit on my roof. Other then that they were knowledgable and easy to work with.

Solar Technologies was the company we choose for a couple of reasons. The first was they are a local company out of Pleasanton. The second is all the way from the beginning when we had our first visit with the sale rep. (Robert) we felt comfortable. He explain everything in detail so we could understand more about his company and also solar in general. They kept us informed about the process and that it would take probably about 5 weeks or so before they could get to our project. Jan York kept us up to speed on what was happening and set up the date for installation. All the work on our house was done professionally and they kept the project clean. I wouldn't have any problem recommending this company to others.

Excellent team, excellent equipment. Always professional and courteous. But they are very busy. It was 3 months between contract signing and installation.
