A nice box of interesting, mostly-good items. Pretty much what I was hoping it would be. A taste of Japan, for not very much more than what it would all cost in Japan, and a lot less than what it would cost at Asian shops outside of Japan.

My niece is picky and she liked just about every snack in our first box. She also adored the chopsticks and chopstick holders, as did the whole family and I. We were really impressed and, as the purchaser of the 6 month subscription I'm happy to say I have no regrets! I have had nothing but the most positive experiences with every single Bokksu box and every conversation I’ve had with customer service, I can’t even imagine a more amazing company that exists on this planet right now.

I won't use much flowery language, since it's very much literally on the box: the variation of snacks are fun, even to someone picky with flavors and textures such as myself. Occasionally the boxes will be special for the season they arrive in, which is a delight. They are always packaged with care so the items inside are clean and undamaged. Though they always arrive approx. 1 month after they are due, I don't mind given they always arrive in good condition and the snacks themselves have future expiration dates. I only don't give it 5/5 because of my own pickiness; I always end up giving away 2-4 snacks per box to friends since they aren't to my taste. It's otherwise been a fun experience, bringing a genuine smile to my face when the box finally arrives. Though the price shot up for the upcoming 2026 year due to international shipping issues, I will be keeping a close eye on pricing and am very likely to resubscribe again in the future if cost starts looking a little more affordable for me. This was genuinely such an enjoyable year, thank you for all of your hard work!

Wide variety of snacks.

Every box I received I loved, all the snacks are very well packaged. The book that gives you a description of all the snacks are fun to read and learn about. Each order is different, giving me fun new snacks to try each month. Shipping can be a little slow at times, but never had a box that was wet or busted. The service bokksu provides is amazing, currently working through a small shipping issue but confident they will help fix the small issue. Thank you bokksu for providing us with snacks and history.

Although the USPS did not update the delivery accordingly, my friend got her gift and she really liked it. She said the snacks are yummy.

Great gift. Thoroughly enjoyed by my wife and sharing some of the treats with our grandsons.

I got my first Bokksu on my 12th birthday, and it was a very enjoyable experience! The snacks were fresh, unique, and full of exciting flavours! I liked how each item felt special and different from regular snacks. The mochi and the matcha Kit Kat were especially delicious! The booklet that comes with the box was clear and helped me learn about every snack in a simple way. Overall, Bokksu is a fun and exciting way to discover Japanese treats, and I would happily try it again!
