I got this for my husband’s birthday. He was super surprised and really enjoyed tasting all the different little treats. The packaging is beautiful, and the little booklet included in the box gives a wonderful description of each item inside. I will definitely order one of these again for a person who “has everything”.

Just awesome, always a wide selection of snacks! I love the leaflet explaining the origin of each bite and helps learn japanese too! It also gives ideas where to visit next time and hunt for the snacks at location! ^^ Even if for a couple boxes or as gift, I recommend!

seamless ordering and delivery

It's such a fun monthly treat to get my Bokksu in the mail. I love how ever box has a tea, something sweet, a baked good--the variety is a great snapshot of Japan.

The box is so nice looking. I'd forgotten it was coming,and when I saw a red box near my door coming home from work, I didn't know what it was at first. It's a lovely box, though, and I was really psyched!

I was pleased at how quickly the box arrived and how nicely it was packaged. I just added a bow and didn’t need to wrap it. It was borderline too expensive. Of the 16 snacks in my box, 15 had sugar as an ingredient. I would like to see a few without sugar. Otherwise, it was a nice treat for friends.

The customer service is prompt. There has never been an issue. Delivery is reliable. In all, an awesome experience. One I look forward to continuing.

I ordered this as a gift for someone who had done me a favor. I read about the box in Wirecutter. I trust their recommendations and they did not disappoint. The packaging and presentation were beautiful and the treats were yummy. The recipient thoroughly enjoyed the surprise. It did take a bit longer to get delivered than I expected, but customer was on top of it all the way and answered my emails immediately.
