Great simulator - some connection and charging issues - otherwise would be 5 stars

So far I'm really enjoying the ST+. Software runs great, the ball and club data is excellent for practice on the range. Connection is clunky at first, but after going through the process and connecting to the different connection modes, it all makes sense. I'm not liking the enclosure though. I mean it's OK, I just don't like how the corners flare out a few degrees. I would prefer 90 degree angles for the entire enclosure. The materials don't fit over the cage in some spots, like the outside bottom sides towards the back of the enclosure. You need to leave the pipe exposed so the inside wall allows enough relief to line up the velcro for the impact screen. The velcro is convenient, but doesn't provide enough tension to remove sag on the bottom of the screen. I solved this by adhering velcro to the landing mat under the screen and securing it. I tried tarp clips first, but didn't work as well as the extra velcro. I also moved the projector to the included ceiling mount, I didn't feel comfortable using the lower, intergrated mounting system. All in all, I'm enjoying both practice and course play. I hit balls every day and working on my launch windows. I'm hoping ST adds new courses frequently and builds their library quickly, there are other 3rd party sim Software companies that offer waaaay more for the same price. So far, so good. I'm glad I made the purchase.

So far everything is great. The only issue I have with the monitor is that every once in a while it has a hard time reading chip shots. I don't know if I should move the ball closer or farther away or in front of the laser.

The SkyTrak system was shipped on time and complete. However, the Geek Squad installation team was not familiar with SkyTrak and struggled to get it set up correctly. They left without finishing the side netting or giving instructions on how to use the system. Fortunately, the SkyTrak team are very helpful when contacted by phone.

I was very impressed with the online support in getting the system started. I am fairly tech savvy, but had some difficulty navigating the registration process. A quick chat with a rep from SkyTrak and my system was up and running in 5 minutes.

I finally set up my net/screen and projector. Setting up the net was a challenge for one person and I was expecting it to be difficult to set up and start using the projector. I couldn’t have been more wrong, it was a breeze! And once I adjusted the size of the projection to match the size of the screen,(this is done in the settings) I was playing Pebble Beach! My winter is going to much more bearable now, bring on the snow!

Irons and wedges are great. Driver accuracy…. Meh. Not that great. Have called customer service multiple times and get conflicting answers.

Its been easy and fun.

Still some kinks to work out.
