Alex and I had great service from Matthew and Nick at S4S, when we needed to replace Alex's cello bow. Alex played with four or five bows until he narrowed it down to two. Then Nick also played with our choices and gave his thoughts on the sound of the bows with Alex's cello. We were there for over an hour - they were very patient, and we went home with a new bow. Thank you so much for your expertise.

The care taken in the packaging showed such respect for the products and for the customer. The little autumn postcard of the shop is just delightful and now sits on my 4 year olds bedside table and he looks at it most nights, proudly saying that he’s been there before. Thanks team!

I've always found that the staff at S4S are professional and go the extra mile to help me on my musical journey. I was excited to hear of the chance to try different strings on site, rather than just buying a set and hoping the sound is what you want. One day I hope to feel confident enough in my playing to try that service!

The staff were so nice and considerate. I needed to conduct some research on the relationship between dominant frequency and soundbox area of violins, and I scheduled a 1. 5 h session, but I ended up staying for more than 3 hours. They were so considerate and patient with me, even helping me with my measurements and ensuring a relatively quiet environment. Overall, the staff were so nice, and the service was impressive.
When I bought a set of Pirazzi strings through the store in Red Hill, the staff were very nice, and took me in the right direction. They also helped to put them on for free!
