No better time to get into amateur filmmaking! I purchased the Panablue version, upgrading from the basic blue flare M series. The most obvious improvement at first is the size of the lens, allowing for the iPhone 17's increased sensor size. The lens is incredibly beautiful and as filmic as iPhone videography can get. I personally love the iPhone look. The native lenses can provide natural blooming of highlights, which becomes pretty magnificent when paired with the bokeh this lens adds. I would happily watch feature films shot with via iPhone with this lens.

It does the job it needs to do perfectly. However, they added some sort of soft bumper layer on top. That cosmetic layer started to peel on the first weekend and is already gone, leaving some dirt glue behind it , that i should clean.

Overall I’m very pleased and look forward to more experiences with this lens. As a note: I believe my clearest shots come from using a tripod and a remote shutter, but this is to be expected with most zoomed photos, regardless of the camera.

Since I'am new to Moment Family, I can say without a doubt, the quality from their products is top notch which included the cheese plate. If you want more option and versatility, it's a must for your SuperCage. Easy to install and ready to built your favourite setup before filming.

Has made a huge difference in my footage. The variable nd filter gives so much more flexibility for shooting and the cone loom adds a nice softness to all my shots. Only downside I’ve ran into is that my lens cap doesn’t really fit onto it without sitting directly onto the glass :(

i have been asking for an 8mm for a very long time so this release is super exciting to me!! the glass is much bigger in this upgrade. colour rendition and sharpness is undeniable.
