I recently paired the Moment 75mm Macro (T-Series) with my iPhone 17 Pro Max for a trip to the coast, and it has completely changed how I approach mobile photography. While I’ve always enjoyed the convenience of my iPhone’s camera, this lens adds a level of optical character and intentionality that software simply can't replicate. The standout feature of the 75mm focal length is the "long-range" macro capability. Unlike traditional macro lenses that require you to be an inch away from your subject, this lens allows for a comfortable working distance of about four to six inches. This was a game-changer while shooting sea life in tide pools. I was able to capture the intricate, microscopic details of barnacles and small crustaceans without casting a shadow over them or disturbing the more skittish creatures. The image quality is stunning. The bokeh is soft and natural, providing a cinematic depth of field that makes subjects pop against a beautifully blurred background. There is a "layered" look to the photos that feels more like a professional mirrorless setup than a smartphone. The build quality is exactly what you expect from Moment. The aerospace-grade metal feels substantial and premium, and the T-Series interface is a significant upgrade—the twist-and-secure mount feels incredibly stable on the iPhone 17 Pro Max case. It survived a week of sand and sea spray without any issues, proving it's as durable as it is sharp. If you are looking to move beyond the clinical, "computed" look of standard phone photos and want to find the hidden stories in the details around you, this lens is an essential addition to your kit. It has easily become my favorite piece of gear for outdoor adventures.

I recorded an entire project using a 1. 55x anamorphic mobile lens with my iPhone 16 Pro, and the results were surprisingly cinematic. The lens creates a beautiful widescreen look with signature horizontal flares that instantly elevate the footage.
