Once my message was added to the gift box, its arrival and contents were a big hit with the dog and his owner. The AKC puppy gift box has been exceptionally well received package for several dogs and owners over the years. I still find it amazing that the ability to enclose a gift card is not part of standard online purchase. I understand the AKC shop is using an independent vendor to fill this order but it is a gift, after all. I will end by thanking the AKC staff for their extra efforts in getting my message added to shipment.
