Purchased 3 of the Maxx kits (1x2 and 1x3) for our daughter’s new apartment. We had intended to use the two 1x2 kits as nightstands, and the 1x3 as an office bookcase. When her apartment location changed, we were able to reconfigure the kits, cornering the 1x3 with a 1x4 (we stacked the two 1x2s) to create a custom format for the new location. In addition to the flexible modular configuration of these kits, we also found the customer service exceptional - from initial ordering, to replacement shelves when a few arrived damaged, to help with assembly, the customer service team at Shelf & Co went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional.

100% love the 2 silver big boy floating shelves … I actually received with both shelves damaged from shipping and customer service was VERY easy to deal with and they immediately sent out 2 replacement shelves.

The online purchasing experience and delivery time were both good, but the quality of the product simply isn't a value at any price. The shelf holes into which the wall supports slide are gaping and allow too much play. Also, within 24 hours, the shelf sagged several degrees, enough that my son's toy cars wouldn't stay still even "parked" angled at 45 degrees over the shelf's surface. I bought two floating shelves; one is still unopened and both have been replaced by the much higher quality Pottery Barn versions. I wanted to like these but the shelves simply don't function well.

Good quality shelves. We now have three of them. Happy with our purchase.
