Con artists. Trading on Cornwall's good name by selling cheap clothes made in China. Their 'locally sourced' products are just bath bombs, no clothes at all. Their website tries to excuse this behaviour by talking about sustainability and 'energy monitoring', but funding a totalitarian dictatorship for maximum profits just stinks.

Hi Seasalt I love your clothes and am a big fan of the Larissa shirt. But, I've just received an e-mail about the new designs only to find that the one I really wanted has already sold out in my size (16). Reading the reviews , a lot of these say that the sizing of the Larissa shirt is absurd with 16 often the best size for women usually a 14 or even 12 in other Seasalt clothes. So come on , make more of these available in the most common sizes please !!

This sweatshirt arrived about an hour ago and I am sitting here int it, I would like to wear it every day. It's so comfortable and I love everything about it - the colour, the fit, the style, the shape, the length, the fabric, the long, close-fitting cuffs. Thanks to other reviewers, I didn't go up a size as I often do with tops because I like them loose and relaxed, but this fits perfectly in my normal size (!6). I will be careful to wash on cold, as it says, and I normally do anyway with all my delicates, because I would hate it to shrink. While writing though, I have to say, I don't like the new way of doing returns (I have to return the other thing in my order). I'm not that hot on technology and this way will be difficult and anxiety-producing for me.

Popped into seasalt at Cribbs Causeway today looking for an outfit for a funeral. The staff were all so kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they ran up to the stockroom several times to find other sizes and styles for me. Thank you all for making the experience so easy.

I rang with a delivery query and was immediately helped and made to feel at ease by Claire, my query was sorted and my delivery arrived the very next day! Bought six pairs of bamboo mens socks. One pair in the. In immediately with a hole. Four more pairs in the bin within three weeks with the same issue. I have one pair left and I’m not hopeful. Seasalt offered me a £10 voucher for my next purchase.

Purchased a pair of blue casual trousers over the weekend, unfortunately I have a bigger bum than waist. So had to get the next size up, they arrived by post and fit perfectly. Lovely fabric, very wearable.

Wonderful visit to your Hexham shop. Staff are interested and very pleasant and know all stock details. After 2 hours trying on I emerged with the most perfect linen Dipping Sun Waterline trousers! A big thank you to Nicola and Caitlin for all their help. They were both marvellous. It was good to see Kayleigh and Jo as well. All your Hexham team are always so lovely and the displays and choice is first rate. Thank you, Hexham! I shall be back soon! It was a pleasure to shop with you. I would buy more Seasalt trousers but unfortunately most have an elasticated waist at the back. I would suggest that no woman’s bottom looks good in this style, 8 to 18 it is the most unflattering style. Linda, Coventry

Ordered a lovely jumpsuit which arrived today and is a beautiful fit, as always. Only gripe is, that although I agree we should be more sustainable with packaging, my item arrived in a brown paper bag which had got wet. Fortunately the item was not damaged but it could so easily have been.

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to shop at Sea Salt Wimborne on a recent visit to the UK. Friendly, helpful staff who know the products well. They create a really relaxed atmosphere.

So today (1st May) with trepidation I plucked up the courage to visit Southwold to find a dress for two weddings this summer. Thanks to Michelle with the help of Georgie it was a trauma free visit. They helped with ideas, got the different sizes and suggested styles. An hour and a half later I left completely happy and satisfied with my purchases of 3 dresses and 2 cardigans. One outfit I would never have tried on but am very pleased with the result. I also have a very relieved husband that I actually enjoyed a shopping trip! Please pass on my grateful thanks, top marks and a pat on the back for Michelle and Georgie who not only were a great help to me but the shop full of people as well. Was slightly bewildered as to why seasalt cannot now put a invoice and returns label in with items ordered, not everyone has computers smart phones and printers to print off labels etc. . . making something that is normally straightforward more complicated, just to save money I guess. . .

Having purchased two pairs of pyjamas, albeit in 2018 I was rather disgusted when one of the sets of pyjamas really smelt very strongly of dead or dried fish and salt when I opened the packaging. Having washed them the smell went away and I did not worry about reporting it or complaining. I had intended to keep the pyjamas for ‘best’ and for holidays. Of course with the pandemic we couldn’t go on holiday and the pyjamas weren’t used for two years. Having just started to wear one pair of the pyjamas now in the last few months when I was able to start taking holidays I had only worn the one pair five or six times when one of the ties that is sewn into the waistband hem of the pyjama bottoms, and of course is essential for holding the pyjama bottoms up duly broke, which made the pyjamas unwearable! I phoned customer services to let them know about both issues and got through to an assistant in South Africa. The line was terrible, I struggled to understand her because of her strong accent, poor diction and the bad line and it took 30 minutes for her to speak to a manager whilst I was kept on hold as they could not track down my account from my email. These were the first items that I have ever purchased from Seasalt and I have not been impressed with either the workmanship of the item or the customer services. It’s a shame that they outsource to South Africa and not keep customer services within the UK and Cornwall. I bet they don’t publish this review as they have clearly cherry picked only the very best reviews for the website. What a disappointing company and product.

I always find what I am looking for in the shop - the staff are all incredibly helpful. I like the style of clothes and materials used and find the clothes really comfortable ( and the shoes). The Seasalt shop is where I head to first when I am clothes shopping.

I wanted to say how lovely the staff in your St Andrew’s branch were when I returned a faulty item. The shop was busy but the staff -Wendy in particular, and Ellie, took time to sort everything out for me since I didn’t have my receipt. The jeans were replaced and they couldn’t have been more patient with me throughout the process, so I would like to thank them for all their help. They are an asset to your brand.

Just wanted to say how lovely and helpful the staff at your Bakewell store are. Called in yesterday. They were great. Store looked super. So many tempting things beautifully displayed.

I ordered several items from the new collection which included the Alaria Dress which I love, beautiful colours & style, I did have to buy the 14 (12 is often big enough) as found it to be on the small side. I also bought the Tamba Skirt in a size 12 which was perfect, great shape & length & colour. The Reflection size 12 petite top was a good size, even though I am 5'5" tall I don't like my tops too long. As I had ordered multiple sizes & had to return some items I was really impressed with the returns & refund system. I returned my parcel by Royal Mail on Saturday 9th April & my refund was credited to my Paypal account today, Monday 11th April. THAT'S WHAT I CALL SERVICE!! Thank you.
