When my order showed as “under review for completeness” there was no explanation of what that actually meant. I could not tell if this was just payment verification or if they were checking the transcript itself. Even after asking for a step-by-step outline of the process with timelines and what counts as “complete documentation”, there was no detailed reply. I still do not know exactly when the evaluation will be finished or if it is being worked on right now. The issue with the transcript method was also unclear. I had already paid \$20 for a mycreds. ca public share link and uploaded the PDF to Scholaro. The communication left it open whether I also had to pay another \$20 to send it directly by email from mycreds. ca. Both come from the same official source, so without a clear reason why one would be preferred over the other, it feels like an unnecessary extra cost. Scholaro is still a recognised evaluation provider and their portal does let you upload documents, track the order and share the finished report with multiple institutions without extra cost per recipient. The fact that reports can only be shared once they are complete does protect the security of the results. Scholaro’s responses to negative reviews are consistent in structure. They restate the evaluator’s decision, cite accreditation rules or US education standards, and give procedural details such as dates and document issues.
