Shipping was later than originally projected. Some more communication and automation would be helpful.

The shipping of the pillows was okay, although there was an error (which was promptly fixed by Sabai) in that the wrong kind of pillow was initially shipped.

The overall material is good, but the sofa itself feels very poorly built. I was very excited for the sofa, and am pumped for the excellent work that the team is doing. But, for the price I paid, I am unsure I would quantify this as a satisfactory purchase. The longer chaise cushion top refuses to sit flush, it pops out every time you sit down.

Very happy with the sofa. Had a bit of trouble during assembly - at the base of one arm there was a piece of wood sticking out just far enough to where it was stopping the back piece from sliding all the way down into position. Took a solid half hour to figure out what the issue even was, and how to solve it (sliding the back piece down until it hit the obstruction in the arm, and then pulling outwards on the bottom of the arm so that the back could clear the obstruction and slide all the way down). Besides that hiccup, assembly went smoothly. The chocolate brown velvet is beautiful, and the style and proportions of the Essential sofa are perfect. Bench seat is a little firmer than I was expecting, but the good thing about that is the fabric isn’t creasing much after being sat on. I do have cats, they’re behaving themselves for now, but I’m very much expecting to have to order replacement pieces for when the sofa is all scratched up at some future point!

Sabai was great, the delivery service was really lame.

Shipping was in the time specified, about 4 weeks, and the packaging was easy to maneuver by myself. I am very pleased with the rachet tool! It made assembly easy.

Smaller than I thought but is super soft, and it doesn’t look like a mess with the cats claw into it. Great quality, great look, just small.

comfy and beautiful! Took a really long time to receive (expected, since made to order). A pain to assemble solo, but I made it work. I love that I can sit in it and still have my legs propped out straight but some people may hate that. It’s a 50/50 on if you need an ottoman or not; I decided I didn’t need one and cancelled mine.

Couch came in 10 boxes. Customer service is super responsive!

Customer service was fast and accommodating and I had no issues with shipping / delivery / setup.

Everything went great! Came exactly when they said it would. I got impatient at first when they said it would take a few weeks, but when I called for an update, they were prompt and told me exactly when to expect it.

Had annoying shipping issues. Love the color, and the firmness of the cushions and seats. However, the seating is way too shallow, to the point of being uncomfortable.

Great service. Love being able to replace all aspects of our couches. Made first purchase in 2021 and now am able to do a few cushion upgrades, and possible footing upgrades to modernize the design. Will continue purchasing from Sabai

Box arrived a bit damaged, but no damage to essential storage bench.

Lovely pieces and I would have given 5 stars if the chair brackets had slid together without such difficulty.
