Just replaced my 20 year old Traegar with the Dual Fire and just "WOW"! The build quality is what swayed me on the purchase but the ability to have a "hot" side and a "smoke" side is a game changer. I am only 3 cooks in but the results have been exceptional and absolutely no regrets on the purchase. I use my grills quite a bit (as in weekly) so I am expecting great results going forward. This is a great supplement to my stick burner that I use for my special cooks and I expect to upgrade my rating of the Dual Fire to a 5. Only reason for a 4 is the lack of a probe access port on the right hand side of the cooker.

This is my second Recteq. My other one lasted 8 years with no problems at all. The salty environment on the coast finally took it from me. No complaints. These things are built to last and work flawlessly! Customer for life. And the service after the sale is unbelievable. I called in for a minor issue at 8 PM and one of the owners answered the phone. I had an older RecTec and my front shelf had a broken pin that holds it up. I actually called to buy a new shelf but the Agent said they had replacement parts and they would send them right away. I received the parts a few days later and my front tray work great again. Great customer service! And I now have a second RecTec grill that I purchased a couple weeks. Very happy with it as well. Finally got the Deck Boss 800 and have done a few cooks on it. So far, so good, can't beat the ease of use.

Grill brush works great. Get your girls at 4:50 to 500° dip it in ice cold water and scrub doesn’t take much pressure at all.

Before I start, four star rating because I’ve only fired it up once. But in comparison to the RT-380 (red digital display), it offers benefits for a convenient cook. I like the height, foldable tray, and ash clean out. One drawback is the hard to read display in sunlight. I understand the wireless feature, but keeping the red display would have moved it up one star. Nevertheless, I look forward to many great cooks on this unit.
