The transaction was smooth and I am loving the updates compared to my last RadRunner 3 Plus.
Our family has 6 Rad bikes. What more can I say
It's ok
Did not include any screws or attachment hardware for the rack I ordered.
Very helpful on any issues I have had. They have gone beyond what has been expected
Couldn’t be happier with the bike, the brand, and the entire experience. Thank you, Rad!
The battery terminal covers worked great. We drove through rain and there was no harm to the bikes.
good
My basket was a large rear basket, that I gave away because it was too wide for me.
The RadRover 6 is fine on flat, solid ground, especially if you’re a lighter rider not carrying much gear. But beyond that, it really shows its limitations. Despite being marketed as a 750W bike, the power and torque are noticeably weak compared to other 750W bikes I’ve tried. Sloped terrain, loose ground, or slippery surfaces? It struggles. Even small hills here in Wisconsin require full power and serious effort from me just to get up them. I initially hoped to pull a small trailer or haul light loads like firewood, but that’s simply not realistic with this bike. It lacks the torque needed for even mild inclines under load. After testing other models, it’s clear not all 750W motors are created equal — and this one feels like a lower-grade option. If you’re sticking strictly to flat pavement, it’s okay. But for hills, trails, hauling, or real utility use, this isn’t the bike.
So far so good.
Online shopping and delivery went smooth
We love many things about our Rad Wagon 5. However, it’s had an inexcusable number of serous manufacturing flaws. First the back wheel spokes broke during normal, calm riding by one small adult, and the whole rear wheel had to be replaced under warranty. Next the bike stopped powering on (again, for no identifiable reason). It was still under warranty, and we took it to an authorized mechanic. For an ENTIRE SUMMER, Rad sent a series of parts to the mechanic and kept telling him to try replacing different things. Eventually, after 3 months Rad replaced our entire bike. I suppose I appreciate all the warranty repairs and the eventual replacement of the bike, but if you need reliable transportation, I would not recommend a Rad bike. We only have 1 car and use our Rad bike as an essential part of our transportation plan for our 5 person multi-kid household. I feel like we’re on pins and needles waiting for the replacement to start failing too (and be out of service for months). I don’t know what’s wrong with the manufacturing quality of the newer Rad bikes, but I can’t recommend them anymore. :(
Great service
Plenty of power, great support
Great decision to buy the bikes. We are able to take long rides with our family.
Good experience just don’t like that the price dropped after I bought mine
I have had great success enjoying my RadRover 6+. I got one for my Lady and she loves it. I recommend Rad Power Bikes to all of the many people that ask me about the brand.
Fine are your Seattle branch closings
I just wrote one then you’re asking me to write another one. I hope you got the first one the bike could be better.
