Incapable of producing custom boating shoes that fit. Incompetent and uncaring management.

You Maine guys know cold. There should be a way to keep cold from coming up through soles. They are really comfortable! Lot's of compliments from the ladies.

Best looking loafer on the market. Perfect for a casual touch. These are my 5th pair of Quoddy shoes. Love them!

The fit is perfect (½ size smaller for loafers) and the construction is what I used to see in the 40s and 50s (no shortcuts or false economy). Pricey perhaps but should last many times longer than any other footwear. Additionally, the leather is a quality that is almost never reached by any othet manufacturer. Finally, service is far "above and beyond". Well done, Quoddy, my next order will be on the way soon. Then no more shoe purchases in this lifetime.

I got my usual size, and at first I thought they were a size too small, but after a few days, the shearling started to compress and mold to my foot a little, and now they’re the best slippers I’ve ever owned.

The slippers are comfortable, but after wearing them 3 times, the shearling is almost gone at the back where the seam is. It was way too thin. Not sure if this is by design as it's where the leather is stitched together, or if it's a defect. The vibram "air injected soles" offer little support, so if you're walking on hardwood expect to feel like you're walking on hardwood floors without any cushioning in the footbed of the slipper. Overall, they're comfortable, but I had higher expectations in terms of both quality and durability given the price.

Quoddy shoes are the best and I am loving the new ring boots. Great quality, craftsmanship, and comfort. I am a customer for life!

Ordered the bluchers in peanut suede and they fit like a glove and were made exactly as ordered. I wear a 13.5 size shoe so it's been difficult to get a good fit. Highly recommend Quoddy!

Love the quality of these shoes. They are slightly on the small side for my feet but with use they should fit well, I believe. They are size 10 so a half size larger if they were available would be perfect,eg, a European 44 vs 43.

Your product is of high quality in construction and appearance. The "build" process enhances the outcome and encourages future purchases. One question: Are you able to place a replacement sole on a newly purchased shoe? I bought a pair of boat shoes last summer and am not happy with the boat sole and would like to replace it with a camp sole.

These are the best hand sewn shoes I’ve ever had and equally the best slippers! Exactly what I ordered and fit was perfect!

I will start with the good. Product is beautifully made and very high quality. Now for the bad…ordered these in a 10 as a gift for my husband who is a 9.5. Received the 10’s super fast but they didn’t fit. Spoke with customer service and they said to mail back and they would exchange for an 11 (which cost me $18 at the post office.) . After waiting I think about a week I contacted customer service again to see where the replacements were. I was informed they were in the middle of quarterly inventory check and they would be shipped out early the next week. Once shipped we again received quickly. Husband put them on and they were again too small, they felt identical to the 10’a we ordered originally. Contacted customer service again and they told us to check sizing on box (there was none) and that there should be a sizing tag on the shoe itself (there was none) and there was none of either of these on the original pair we received. We were advised to send them back again (this time they paid return postage because we were so mad) and they would check them on their last to see what size they were and if it was the incorrect size, they would ship another one back out. After a few days I again called customer service to see what the status was. No one answered so I left a message. I received (and missed) the call back but they left a detailed message stating that the replacement pair was in fact a 10 and the would be sending the correct 11. Once we received the 11’s they thankfully fit great. For the price and quality of these I really expected a little more from the business itself. I wish there was a sizing recommendation guide on the website stating that these run small. I am a little irritated that I had to pay return shipping the first time. I also think they should have some sort of sizing indication on the box and the slippers themselves. If they had just done inventory, we should not have received the same size slipper again.

The customization process is great. Quality of materials and craftsmanship is above par. Only wish they hard a burgundy color to select. This is my third pair of shoes from Quoddy. I am pleased with all my pairs.

Loved Quoddy for decades.

I have five different Quaddy styles and love them all! I think my Penny Drivers and I ring boots are the all time favorites! So unbelievably comfortable and they look good. What else do you want in a shoe?
