It's 4 degrees outside today, so riding will have to wait awhile. I can only talk about the shipping experience - I had the bike shipped assembled. It was so well packaged that you wouldn't know it was shipped 2000 miles - thank you Public- I just keep walking in and out of my front room just to see it! Can't wait for Spring!

We've had our bikes, (C7 and V7) for 8 years now, and they've gone with us from Houston to Key West, the Grand Canyon, and Venice Beach. They have been absolutely amazing to ride with no problems whatsoever. I recommend upgrading the saddle to a Brooks saddle for a more comfortable ride, but the one it comes with is fine, too.

The primary purpose of my bike purchase was to take my two-year-old son riding around the neighborhood. My height is 5' 9", and the medium size V7 fits me perfectly. The bicycle arrived in a timely fashion and was well packaged. I paid the extra fee to have my bike assembled. I am pretty handy with tools and putting things together, but I prefer to leave it to the expert to build my bike. A no-brainer! The bike is beautiful, sturdy, and well-made. This bike should easily cost double or triple the amount I paid for. Very smooth ride and no rattling! I also purchase the Yepp Maxi child seat so that my son can safely ride along with me. Heads up, if you plan on getting a child seat, make sure you purchase the double kickstand. I am so glad I did because it keeps the bike standing straight up and makes it way easy to strap your child on. Definitely, a must-have! Overall, I am happy and love this beautiful piece of equipment.

The purchase of my gift card was easy and extremely user friendly! When I used it to purchase my recent bike it was also very easy to use and helped me have a little more time to make my decision. I struggled with the decision because I am a 58 year old cyclist who within the last 10 months had spinal fusion surgery and then 16 days ago had total hip replacement of my right hip. I was looking for a bike that I would be able to get on without having to lift my leg too high that will allow me to cycle and gain strength prior to attempting my road bike again. I am SUPER excited to get my bike and would LOVE to order some accessories!!

I ride a Dutch bike whenever I am in Italy and I wanted to have the same type for when I'm in New York and I think I've found it with Public bike. My bike arrived as specified and packed well. I chose the "ready to ride" which I would recommend. The sage green is a beautiful color and I've matched it with the red bell and red rear rack, cherry rear basket and aged brown comfort saddle and Ergo grips complete the look. I have yet to ride it (as it's winter now in New York) but I already know I will like it. It looks stylish and feels a good quality bike.

I love this bike! This is actually my second purchase from Public. I bought my first R24 drop bar in November 2019 as a reward to myself for quitting drinking and making some major lifestyle changes. During the two years I had the bike I probably put over 2000 miles on it and it performed like new without a single hiccup. This bike is sturdy, relatively light (I left the fenders off), and it had enough space for all my city commuting needs such as lights, a bell, and cell phone holder. I had a rack on it with panniers at one point and was able to load it up without a problem. This bike helped me completely change my life and helped me lose nearly 75lbs. It’s such a nice ride that I just always wanted to be on it. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago that bike was stolen. It was almost 2 years to the day since i bought it. I was devastated. I neglected to document the serial number and pretty much wrote off ever seeing it again. Keep this locked up! Double-lock it! Mine was in a security coded foyer and I can only think that someone had been casing it for a long time. This bike stands out and turns heads. Even people who aren’t bike people know they’re looking at a high quality bike when they see it. Afterwards, I called and spoke with Dave and couldn’t have been greeted with more professionalism and courteousness. He helped me quickly place an order for a replacement, although this version is the R18, and couldn’t have been more understanding about the loss of my bike. These guys really get what a good bike means to someone. The shipped it faster than I expected and I received it quickly (across country in a few days - I’m in Atlanta) and had it assembled at my local bike shop and was out the door in no time. This bike is a dead ringer for my old R24 but better! The gears shift even more smoothly than with my last bike and it seems to still have the gear range of the R24. I never thought I’d have a bike I liked better than my last one so this one being even higher...

I received my bike and love it so much! I am only 4”11 and purchased XS. It is so hi smooth and so much fun to ride this bike. The customer service was also amazing when I had questions and I am now considering buy my commuter bike as well! Thanks Public Bikes!
