Love the bike and the company, great traditional style and amazing ride. I previously owned one and bike/trained commuted to work for two years. Unfortunately, it was stolen…I was a little overly confident where I store it This is my second purchase, I wouldn’t buy a different bike and hope I keep this one a lot longer!

I love my new bike…and specifically wanted the lightest bike possible. Previously, I was riding a very heavy bike that wasn’t right for me, a petite, slender woman. This new bike is easy to ride, and easy to lift with one arm to bring into my house or lift into my car. It is a quality purchase that I know I will use for many years. I’m now trying to convince my friends to buy new bikes from Public.

First I've received amazing customer service from Public bikes, I can't compliment them enough on that. For the R18 drop bar, I have had no issues. I did need to make some adjustments to the front derailleur but that was most likely due to delivery. I have removed the break/shifters (Brifters) and installed Shimano Dura Ace downtube shifters. I love the look and feel and have received a few compliments riding around my local area. This is my first bike in years and the first with Presta valves and I really enjoy them. I thought it was going to be delicate or complicated but it wasn't. Assembly was easy, I only needed to install bars and peddles plus the seat. It came with a very nice tool that I keep in my tool bag. If I really force myself to try and find any problem, it may be the seat. However after getting my butt used to riding again and making a few personal adjustments to height and tilt, I really don't mind it. I'm quite comfortable. I hope to add some pictures in the future but I'm always excited and quick to get out the door I always forget the wife's camera. Short and simple, you wont be dissatisfied with the R18 drop bar. P.S. I am a disabled vet (Knees + other) and the 9 speed gearing has really helped me not have any pain for once. I'm finally able to get out and travel a good distance. Long walks are painful and running is an absolute no go. Biking in general has changed my life for the better.

I have other bikes but this v9 aluminum from public bikes is special.I love the ride,the gear change,the seat posture and it is an attractive bike.I am looking forward to many rides to come.Thank you public for fast shipping and easy assembly.

Basket was beautiful, but just a tad small for my oversized Dutch front rack. I measured wrong and despite the problem being my fault they took it back and issued a refund without any hassle. Will definitely be shopping with them more after my experience

This bike is so nice to ride and put together, when it comes 99% assembled. It's so smooth and the shifting is really nice, especially since you can change gears while stopped. It has puncture resistant tires that work pretty well, being from the high desert, I put that to the test but unfortunately the side walls are not puncture resistant, but that's to be expected. The double walled rims give me a nice peace of mind when hitting an unexpected bump in the road or riding off sidewalks. I'm 5'8" and 165lbs and ordered the small/med frame and it fits just right. I was a little nervous because I'm right on the fence height wise between the two sizes, but I definitely made the right choice

I’ve been wanting a Public bike for awhile and finally was able to purchase one. I got the C7 with Thousand helmet and I absolutely love both. The ride is so smooth and so comfortable. Biking has always been a bit of headache for me but really it’s all about the bike you use. Because of this one I’m anxious to get outside and use it. I chose the ready to ride shipping method and setup couldn’t have been easier.

This basket works great! I love the color and it attached easily to my bike. Doesn't seem to shake around when I'm riding and holds my water bottle and other items just fine. The size is nice and holds a lot without being too bulky. Overall very happy with this purchase, much cuter than a plain water bottle holder and can hold much more.

I initially received my bike and it had been damaged by the postal service. Public was very kind and generous and replaced my bike and shipped it to me incredibly fast, and its perfect and beautiful. I received compliments the first day of riding, including the emplyees from my local bike shop when I stopped to purchase a pump and flat kit just in case. Its high quality and a great investment. Its a comfortable ride and i just love the vintage look and the modern performance so much. The customer service was excellent. I bought this bike for city jaunts/commuting. I opted for the mostly assembled version. The bike was packaged securely and arrived fairly quickly. I had a small issue with the pedal striking the chain guard, but this was resolved almost immediately. Customer service is fantastic. For me, that is what truly matters. As for the bike- it is wonderful. Fun to ride. Elegant. An all around win.

Not only is my C1 the most comfortable and smooth bike I've ridden, the customer service I received was phenomenal. Due to shipping damage, the first bike that was shipped to me was not able to be ridden. I emailed Public about the damage (I included photos and video) and not 20 minutes later, I received a phone call, text, and email to tell me that a replacement bike was getting ready to be shipped. Conner and Andrew at Public kept me in the loop through the entire process, from returning the bike, to finding a replacement that was damage-free, to when it was shipped. This bike is amazing! I was introduced to the brand by my son . Public has provided a quality product that rides effortlessly. It’s light weight , shifts easily and overall is a beautiful bike. The bike is such a pleasure to ride. It’s easy step through model on the womens bike makes getting on and off so simple. The price can be steep but you get what you pay .

Very beautiful bell. Finish quality and construction are both very good. It has a sort of dissonant two tone ring that's not what I expected but is very cool in its own way. I expected the classic rotary bell sound which is a many chimed "bring bring". This bell makes more of a "ding dong" kind of sound. Many excellent colors to choose from!! Shipping was very fast.
