Poor booking service
What began as a straightforward service inquiry turned into a disappointing and frustrating interaction, due entirely to poor communication, disorganisation, and an apparent lack of accountability from your staff. When I initially called thee garden city store to make my appointment, I clearly communicated to the staff member that I only wanted colour applied to specific sections of my hair—not a full head of Demi colour. Despite this, I was incorrectly booked for a full head treatment. Upon arrival, I was asked about the style and colour I wanted. I showed multiple reference photos to the stylist, who promptly informed me they could not carry out the requested service because I had not been booked for foils. I reiterated the details of my original phone call, but the stylist remained adamant that they did not have the time required to complete my hair properly. We then proceeded to the counter where I was told I could be rebooked for the following day at 11:00 AM. I agreed and confirmed the new appointment in person before leaving the salon. However, when I arrived the next day, the receptionist informed me that there was no record of my appointment. After consulting another staff member, I was told that the stylist who had spoken to me the day before was "waiting for me to return to the salon to confirm the booking. " This was both baffling and unacceptable—I had already confirmed the appointment in person and had received no follow-up via text, email, or phone to suggest any further confirmation was needed. To make matters worse, I was then told that—even if I had been booked—there still wouldn’t have been enough time allocated for the service I had requested. This level of miscommunication and lack of responsibility is simply unprofessional. It’s deeply disappointing that such a disorganised and dismissive attitude is present among the staff, particularly when the salon employs stylists who are genuinely skilled, especially with curly hair. Unprofessional and unreliable
Booked an appointment for colour, extension removal and extensions reapplied. Did this in store on 2nd of August. Rang up today as I didn’t get text message reminder the day before as advised I would, and found out my appointment had been taken off the system. Below is the message I received on my phone through voicemail on the 12 August 2025. Which was left by Jacqueline who was not apologetic at all when I rang today to check why I had not received a text reminder for my appointment for tomorrow. “…how are you it's Jacqueline from price attack, you have an appointment on Sunday, 31 August it was at 12 I'm wondering if you come in half an hour earlier at 11:30 that be awesome if you can you should get a text about it but if not 1130 Sunday the 31st thanks bye…. ” Not profession and definitely not reliable would let them near my hair ever!

most lovely staff
tracey at price attack coomera had the best costumer service. she was so knowledgeable and kind when i came in looking for a shampoo. couldn’t recommend her more, definitely will be coming back

I have been to Dubbo salon before, not as short as I wanted but told two friends the service was pleasant & they attended. I went today, was very specific how much I wanted cut off, as I always wear my hair up, after two trims & testing my hair up & having to keep showing how much I wanted cut off, the hairdresser said I needed layers for that, I said okay, please do. After I put it up for the third time, I had this really long piece, she said I’ll just cut that. (This is was from the very front of my hair) she trimmed it & asked me to try it again putting it up, I said it was still long in that section, she said she was unable to cut it anymore. The male working there said to her $60? She agreed & then after having to cut the long piece of hair The hairdresser said $65. The young cash register was lovely, asked as a standard practice if I was happy with my haircut, I just vaguely said yes. I felt like an inconvenience even though I was very specific in my request. If I had of know in advance the price was going to be negotiated at the end between staff when I was questioning a large chunk of hair being noticeably long I wouldn’t have gone there for some self care.
