The adjustable depth backplate is an excellent product. I happen to be pretty handy at do it yourself, and have a well equipped workshop. You could make this product more consumer friendly by offering backplate configurations that have a variety of openings and mounting holes to support outlets and switches that a normal consumer might want to use.
