The Essex is roomy, sturdy and comfortable for reading and for snoozing. My only complaint is that the leather looks quite plastic-y. I hope it softens and looks better over time.

I wanted to like this sofa. The style is good, and the leather is soft. The main problem is that the seat cushion is uncomfortable. It’s way too hard, and it hasn’t softened much since we got it 2 months ago. Thinking of returning.
