We like the products so far. The negative star is due to a delay in shipping and some difficulty connecting the camera to our WiFi.

Service with Nanit has been as expected, shipping was quick and I have not needed customer support. But regarding the product. . . I was hoping for a monitor that would make it so much easier than using my phone, which is a battery suck, but this monitor also does not last long on battery and you cannot do all of the things/features that the app provides on the phone or is not user friendly enough to know how to do things. It would have been much better to get an Alexa product that would allow you to see the monitor and do other things, because this monitor is an expensive one trick pony, only letting you view the camera without needing a phone. The monitor sometimes takes a long time to turn the screen on so you can actually view the camera when it has been idle and if you do not long press to fully power down the monitor, it will suck the battery so fast. I do not have the insights plan, but it is unclear what you would even see related to that on this monitor. For now it just seems like a very pricey screen that you could use so many other, more affordable, products to do the same thing.

Really good service vs expectations.

We were so happy to see that Nanit has the breathing band in bigger sizes for our growing girl. She made the transition to sleeping in her own nursery around 6 months and having the breathing band has helped us sleep easy knowing we have an alert for any scary situation.

Had it for about 6 weeks, the battery does not last through the night. Constantly keeping it plugged in. Picture quality is great, but don’t like that a lot of the features on the display are “coming soon” wish the product was rolled out fully complete. Other than that so glad I have something other than just my phone now.

The quality of the camera is very impressive. We also appreciate the notifications when there is crying. Additionally, being able to listen to him is helpful. And being able to communicate to the other parent when in the room is such a cool feature. Highly recommend.

We got a non-WiFi monitor initially because we were hesitant about the price of the Nanit. After months of using that one with lots of issues, we finally decided to get the Nanit Smart Monitor System with the Nanit Home screen and I wish we would have just started with this! The picture is so clear and the sleep tracking and analytics really help me understand my daughters sleep needs better.

Nanit will forever be my baby/ child essential, it saved my 12 months old life as he was going into respiratory failure in the middle of the night. I was able to act in real time thanks to the Nanit and get him transported right to the CH ICU. It was a matter of minutes, and those minutes mean everything when it comes to SIDS prevention.
