I really like having the Nanit baby monitor display because it gives me a dedicated screen to check on my baby without constantly opening the app on my phone. It’s very convenient, especially at night, and I love that it saves my phone battery since I don’t have to keep the Nanit app running all the time. The video quality is clear and it’s easy to quickly glance at the monitor during the night. The only downside is the battery life. I usually charge it before bed, but the battery tends to run out around 3 AM, so it doesn’t last through the entire night. I wish the battery lasted longer or had a slightly stronger capacity. Overall, it’s still a great accessory if you want a separate monitor instead of relying on your phone. Because of the battery life, I’m giving it 4 stars, but I still find it very useful and convenient.

Really good company

The monitor is amazing! Helps me be able to use my phone more while just using the monitor to watch my child. Sound and lighting is perfect. It’s a decent size so easy to see! I also like that I can just leave the monitor for anyone that watches our kiddo and they don’t have to download the app and use their phones to watch my child

Originally I had to keep my phone or iPad open all the time so I could watch my daughter on the camera, so now have a designated monitor has been life changing! Works so well and picture quality is great!

I absolutely love the Nanit monitor, I loved it when my son was a newborn and an infant, the sound and emotional alerts were extremely helpful and the breathing monitor was very accurate. I still love this monitor even as my son has gotten older and is a toddler. I especially love the travel stand for whenever we go on any trips I can easily take it with us. This is my favorite monitor. I haven’t had any issues with it and I’ve bought it as a baby shower gift multiple times it’s a must have.

Worth the price for the peace of mind!

I love this monitor! It gives me so much peace of mind watching my baby from another room and not having to drain my phone battery. I will say I do think the battery on the monitor drains fairly quick and sometimes dies within a few hours. Still overall love this product and will continue to use/recommend. I also love that this product displays the temp in the room. Makes me feel better about what baby in at night.

I’ve been using the Nanit Home 8" Display for a little over a month and I’m really impressed. The display is very clear, and the temperature and humidity updates in real time, which I love. It’s also very easy to use and navigate, even if you’re not super tech-savvy. One of my favorite features is that you can bring the monitor with you wherever you go around the house. The only downside is that the battery doesn’t last very long when the camera is on, so you need to keep it plugged in most of the time. Overall, it’s been a great monitor and I’d definitely recommend it.

Would not buy again. Does the general monitoring fine but you could do that with a standard closed circuit system. The premium features: measuring sleep, temperature tracking, and humidity levels are so inaccurate as to be unusable. You must also buy an expensive app service to use. We’ll continue to use because it does the basics but would not recommend to anyone else. Buy a less expensive closed system.

The video quality is good and I like having a dedicated display instead of always needing my phone to check on my baby. It’s convenient and gives me peace of mind. However, the monitor takes quite a while to power on, which can be frustrating when you want to check quickly. The battery life also isn’t great and needs frequent charging. Another issue I’ve had is that I can’t see the insights on the screen. Overall it works once it’s on, but the startup time, battery life, and insight visibility could definitely be improved.

Batter life is terrible for the price of the monitor! Likely would don't buy again .
