The 5 gallon barrel I ordered was supposed to be a formerly used whiskey barrel. I'm not sure exactly when it was supposed to have had whiskey in it since their is absolutely no detectable scent. Also, I know the barrel is unfinished but it honestly looks likes it was sitting outside in someone's yard for a long time.

I absolutely love this barrel. It’s the perfect size that I needed to make my pub table and the shipping was so fast. It was also easy to stain and turned out beautiful.

Ordered a wine barrel with the 48 inch oaK Butcher Block Top. The barrel was beautifully sanded and finished with a nice stain. The butcher block top is well made and looks fantastic. Mystic Barrels is a great company to deal with. Very Happy with it.

I ordered my 15 gallon barrel as decor for my whiskey room. Quality was better than expected as the barrel had that rustic look without the barrel looking ragged and beat up. I really thought about cleaning up the metal bands with a sander, but decided that I rather the slight weathered look of the barrel as it is. I will likely order another barrel from you guys in the future. Communication was great with emails from purchase to delivery. Customer service was fantastic.

The ordering and purchase was as smooth as could be. Delivery was faster than than we were told. The owner answered our inquiries in a timely manner. The barrel is exactly as described and is a perfect compliment to our front porch.

I bought my first barrels several weeks ago. They were delivered in a timely manner and are in really good shape. I'm refurbishing them now and will send pictures when they are completed.
