After reading the site, it sounded as though the barrels were freshly dumped. What I received was completely dry, shrunk and required 2 days to re-swell and had 2 major cracks nearly entirely through 2 staves. However, the cost is a bit lower than a new barrel and I guess these issues aren't much of a concern for someone simply sitting it on their porch.

We absolutely loved our whiskey barrel table with the butcher block top! It's so beautiful in our dining room and works perfectly with our rustic theme. We love our new barrel. It arrived when they said it would, the driver helped place it in home as it’s extremely heavy. We had no idea how heavy these are. Our only disappointment is that there’s no bourbon in it. Lol. It looks amazing in our basement as a side table. We would definitely recommend Mystic Barrels.

Got the full size table and smaller half barrel table. Both are perfect for the room. My wife loved them as an anniversary present. They look great and delivery was well coordinated and protected. I wouldn't knock anything off the value or the tables (would buy them again a hundred times out of a hundred) but there were no holes or markings where to put the table top on the full barrel so I had to do some measuring. Easy to do though and took me a few minutes (screws were included to fit the mounted brackets) so in the end, no harm, no foul! Thank you Mike for a great product and one we are already bragging about like crazy.

The Only Issue I have which May be something that's Common is that the Barrels We're Stained All over the Front from the Red Whine Previously Stored inside the Barrels.

I am amazed at how beautiful my 15 gallon barrel is. Shipping was awesome, fast and tracking was great m. I can not get over how great the barrel looks. Wonderful company to do business with!!

The barrel table is amazing. It's large enough for four or more stools and is beautifully finished. It even smells good, a nice woody smell. We are renovating a barn, and it's a perfect fit.

I live close to Los Angeles and wanted to buy a used whiskey barrel to make a water feature in my back yard.
