It’s ok just nothing special for the price

No issues! As advertised. I feel like I waited a bit for delivery, but that's okay as long as it showed up. Big ticket items can make people nervous. This company is the real deal.

I had high hopes for the Mill. The concept was compelling, and based on everything I read before purchasing, I expected a reliable, well-supported product. Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing. My Mill stopped functioning entirely just three weeks after receiving it — barely past the initial setup phase. I contacted customer service hoping for a straightforward fix, but despite going through their troubleshooting process, the issue was never resolved. I was left with a non-functional appliance and no clear path to a solution. For a product at this price point, this level of reliability and after-sale support simply isn't acceptable. I understand that defects can happen with any appliance, but when customer service is unable to diagnose or fix the problem, that's a serious gap. The promise of a "smart," low-maintenance food recycler means nothing if the unit fails within the first month and support can't get it back up and running. I wanted this to work. The mission behind Mill is one I support. But I can't recommend a product that broke this quickly and left me without a resolution.

I don't like the mill

We don't have trash pickup at our remote property so we needed a way to slim down our garbage production and keep our trash free of smells and leaks. The Mill is a huge win!

Love Mill, it has made such a difference to us for our waste stream and the ability to use our organic waste instead of filling landfills is awesome. After living in Europe for years and having to be more ecologically responsible, Mill allows us to do so in an are that does not offer biodegradable refuse recycling.

No issues.

Mill has become an integral part of our waste management strategy. The best part is odor control. What Mill turns the food scrap into is very easy to manage. Just be mindful that it does not create compost (and it is not meant to do that) but the product is just a stage prior to a full compost.

Our dear MILLton is my favorite addition to our new apartment! I always try my best to be environmentally conscious, so when I came across Mill and learned about the negative impacts of food waste, I was sold. It’s so easy every time I’m cooking to just scoot scraps right in, and I don’t feel as bad about forgetting about my leftovers in the back of the fridge. It’s also exciting to see what he’s done overnight, as well as our personal (and global) impact on the app. PLUS, it’s so easy to know what can & cannot go into MILLton with the app’s library. I CANNOT SUGGEST MILL ENOUGH!!
