Love these edge-guards! I need a wider Santoku style one though I don’t see amongst their selection.

For the past 22 years, I’ve used this knife almost daily, and it has held up beautifully. The balance, durability, and consistent performance are unmatched. Every now and then I get it professionally sharpened, but even after decades of use, it still feels as reliable as the day I got it. When it came time to buy a gift for my son-in-law—who loves to cook—there was absolutely no doubt which knife I would choose for him. Meridian has been good to me, and I know it will be good to him as well. The engraving I had done on the blade turned out amazing and made the gift even more special. Highly recommended for anyone serious about quality in the kitchen.
