These tubes are the best quality tubes I've found available today. I run them on my 20" race bike paired with Maxxis dth tires I put them to the test and am 110% confident they'll get me from the gate to the finish line every time.

I run this tire in the front and a reaver in the back. It’s the perfect desert set up in my opinion.

Epic tire combination, unbelievably good traction, very predictable sliding, it's very easy to predict how far I can slide before they will regain traction and not need to put my foot down, I know they will regain traction confidently. 10/10 tire combination for aggressive riding, fantastic for everything but pedaling uphill, lol. Maxxis still make the best tires. Love the assegai compared to the Minion DHF, a little more versatile, imo.

The tires work well on various types of terrain. I have done some light rock crawling to desert driving. The tires grip really well on the steep climbs. I am going to go to 33s on my next purchase to get into a little more of the rock gardens. No complaints, these are my third set.

Looking for a tire that grips in hard pack with enough traction to grip in looser stuff.

I like Maxxis tires, have had good performance and am learning the strengths and weaknesses of the ones I purchased and the way I ride. I have Rekon's and Ignitor's on my Remedy depending on whether I'm riding more downhill stuff up in Copper Harbor or riding Swedetown near my home. The Ardent's I just purchase is for a build I'm finishing up for my son who lives down near Marquette.
