I am very disappointed with the warranty experience with Lorex. After a year, one of my floodlight cameras stopped working. I contacted the installer, and he provided me with the necessary documents to contact the company about the replacement, but unfortunately, Lorex refused even though the camera has a three-year warranty. I will never buy Lorex products anymore.

Very difficult to talk to anyone and when you do the phone's drop you have to start the whole process over again and again and again I would not recommend Lorex to anyone other than the cameras.

While the system is easy to install and produces a nice picture, the person and vehicle detection feature seem flawed. When configuring the feature, you can set areas for cameras to ignore, per camera, but the software doesn't seem to honor these settings, producing continuous false alarms. I called tech support 3 times to attempt to resolve, but they were of little help, mostly just spouting off basic steps rather than trying to troubleshoot the issue. I give Lorex tech support 1 star.

We as a quality installer, we decided to only use Lorex products. There are less and more expensive systems out there, but the quality is excellent and most importantly, the setup and ease of use made this an easy decision.

Good system

I have a Lorex camera system that I am satisfied with. I wanted to add on to my system so I called Lorex sales to inquire about a product advertised. It was a horrible experience. The sales rep spoke poor English. He couldn’t answer simple questions about the product and kept asking for a SKU number. When I gave him a SKU number he said that it didn’t register or come up as anything. I’m pretty sure he didn’t understand English well enough to get the number correct. I got nowhere. This experience has left me frustrated and disappointed without a positive outcome. Good luck!
