We received my daughter's bed this afternoon and set it up immediately! She was beyond excited going from a twin bed (that she kept falling off!) to a double. When shopping for a mattress this time, I really wanted to find a mattress that didn't contain all the harmful chemicals that most mattresses contain nowadays. I went to a bunch of mattress review sites and read professional reviews of the top dozen healthy mattresses. I must say it was hard to choose from the reviews as all the companies got really high ratings, but Live and Sleep had by far, the best deal price-wise! Ordering was super easy! Not only did they offer the best price on their entry-level mattress, but it came with FREE shipping, and a pillow! Once we unrolled the mattress from the packaging, it started to expand to its proper size and shape almost immediately. We quickly encased it in an allergen protector and set it up on her new frame. We made the bed with all the new bedding and my daughter was all smiles! The packaging says it could take 24 to 72 hours to assume its full shape, but she plans to be sleeping on it way before that process is complete! She's now calling friends for a sleepover... :-) As a side note, my husband and I purchased a prominent brand name memory foam mattress from a well-respected local furniture store several years ago. We spent probably twice the price of the high-end Live and Sleep mattress. We really wanted to like this new type of mattress but after a couple of weeks we had to exchange it. It was hard and retained lots of heat and we got trapped in our own grooves, it was awful. Beyond that our bedroom smelled like a chemical factory for weeks! This mattress has a slight odor, but nothing like the others! I tried this mattress out for about 20 minutes once we got the sheets on. It was soft, but not too squishy. It doesn't encase you like the other one we had, it just provides perfect comfy support, like you're floating without any pressure points -- and this ...

The quality of the mattress is great! I love the looks of it, too. I want to love this bed so badly b/c I like the companies values, and I like the design elements of this mattress. Not to mention, the customer service is top notch. Seriously, just talk to Ryan and you will see what I mean. This company genuinely cares about your personal needs, even if it means their bed isn't the right fit. Unfortunately, both the Elite and Luxury are just too firm for me. I'm used to a medium-firm mattress, and I feel both of these were farther on the firm end of that spectrum. Please give this company a try; you're more likely to find a good match than I was - I've always had hard time finding a mattress that will work for all of my sleep-related idiosyncrasies. Regarding the memory foam and well-known stuck feeling - you don't get that feeling here! Don't stray away if that's your worry.

We bought a queen classic mattress a week ago, and it's working out great! It has a nice amount of sink before the full support kicks in, and is cool and breathable despite hot temps outside this summer. Moving from a good spring mattress to memory foam, I've noticed it isolates vibrations from my partner much more, which was an unexpected plus. It comes in a large box which made shipping and delivery pretty simple. Overall my experience first time buying a memory foam mattress has been great.

I ordered the Queen mattress and, although I am extremely sensitive to chemicals and off-gassing, I was able to use it the first night!. I loved the mattress and found it extremely comfortable on my sensitive back, but my partner did not feel the same way. He found the memory foam material held heat too much for his liking. After some debate we retuned the mattress and Ryan from customer service helped make that process super easy, no questions asked. This mattress is awesome, the service of the company is awesome. While it wasn't for us, I highly recommend giving Live and Sleep a try, there's seriously no risks in doing that and, if you like memory foam, you'll probably love it.

Best night's sleep I've had in years. I have Lyme disease which means most mornings I wake up and my whole body hurts. I bought this because it was affordable, had quick shipping, and most importantly had less toxic chemicals and no added flame retardants. This definitely delivered! It's perfect for our guest bedroom and we would consider buying one for our bedroom when our current mattress goes. The pillow was an added bonus and was pretty comfortable! I had to make a fairly quick purchase of two mattresses, but wanted to make a responsible purchase - something made in (or mostly) the USA to support more locally based business. I was also looking for something that was more environmentally friendly/responsible. I found the Live and Sleep mattress in a list of 10 recommended online mattress companies. Live and Sleep has 2 day free shipping, had a $100 off deal and the price is quite reasonable. One of the reasons I wanted to buy online is because the house is old and has small spaces and I knew it would be easier to get the mattresses up the stairs in a box rather than in their entirety. It didn't take long for them to decompress and take shape. The bed is really nice. I have been sleeping well and feel so comfortable. The bed is firm, but not hard. I am really happy with this purchase and highly recommend Live and Sleep. My one complaint is that while removing one of the mattresses, I noticed on the label 'Made in China'. This was disappointing. I am assuming that it is just the mattress cover, but still. Also, I am a fairly small female and was able to get the boxes up the stairs and unpack them alone, but it would have been much easier with another person. This is not a complaint, just an observation. I truly am happy with my choice of the Luxury Live and Sleep mattress. Thank you.

I purchased the classic model. I didn't realize the 2-day shipping wasn't guaranteed, so I emailed immediately after ordering asking if they could tell me which day it would arrive and explained that I was moving into a new apartment. They ensured I received my mattress in two days, and it arrived right when I needed it. Five stars for customer service. As for the mattress itself, I couldn't be happier. It's firm and supportive, with just the right amount of cushion. I am a side sleeper and my hips, ribs, and shoulders often get sore from sleeping on too hard or too soft mattresses. The mattress decompressed in a few hours. I went to sleep exhausted and achy after moving, and actually woke up in much less than pain that I went to bed with. The pillow is also great, I appreciate that it was included in the coupon. I can't say anything for the longevity yet since I've only had it for three days, but so far I would highly recommend it.

I must admit, I was pretty anxious about buying a new mattress, even more so with buying it over the internet. So I spent six months researching and comparing, until I came to liveandsleep.com I was immediately captivated by their story, process, and design. I have back issues and allergies, and was looking for a very specific feature-set that was proving hard-to-come-by. I have now been sleeping on the Live and Sleep for five nights, and so far I would consider this as one of the finest mattresses available, and as a bonus, it's priced 50-75% less than comps. It sleeps "cool", doesn't "wrap" you in foam while sleeping, and was super easy to setup. The removable cover was a huge benefit, as anyone with allergies will attest. The very noticeable off-gas smell dissipated within 24 hours, just as the company advises. The shipping was prompt and without issue (tho I'm sure my UPS guy would rather I didn't get a mattress shipped to the house ;) ) All-in-all, I'm satisfied so far. I did a TON of research before buying my Live and Sleep--I spent months reading reviews and searching for options. It was very important to me to find a mattress that didn't off-gas, and my Live and Sleep had next to no smell after it was done unrolling and 'inflating' (which only took an afternoon). I tried out Bear Mattress and Tuft and Needle, and both were too soft for me; I'd wake up with intense back or neck pain. Live and Sleep is just a tad firmer than those brands. It is a lot thicker than I was expecting, and the materials feel very high-quality.
